I am a big fan of the manhattan projects series, however I felt that this volume was lacking in the elements that drew me into the first five volumes. There was a lack of the alternate history aspects, which I find very intriguing and engaging. Still a good story, but not as good as the others.
This is an enjoyable continuation of the story, but the issues collected here deal entirely with Yuri and Laika in a sort of space opera, trying to outrun the cops while reluctantly aiding a smuggler. It's fun, but there is nothing at all about the broader story -- which I hope they'll return to soon.
I love this series. It's so intense and out of this world. The illustrations just add to the story. Making it all the better.
Weakest title in the series to date. Focusing on the plights of Yuri and Laika. It remains to be seen if this contributes to the overall series in any meaningful way.
