Suffix is a great teaching book. The illustrations help children "visualize" how a suffix changes a words meaning. The sister boo, Prefix, is another must-have book for teachers as is this one.
I use this to teach suffixes. It is a great teaching tool, and the kids enjoy the illustrations. I also purchased "If I were a Prefix" as it was a similar product.
It did meet my expectations. The book is colorful, well organized , and easy to read. A great opener for my unit.
Love this book series for teaching affixes! Great examples and interesting to 5th graders.
