What a great book to teach readers of all ages the power of punctuation! Lively illustrations make the lessons jump off the page. Any classroom using the Six Traits of Writing will benefit from reading this book when stressing the importance of conventions. In the age of texting and IMing, this book reminds us what is missed when we become careless with our punctuation.

my daughter teaches kindergarten. i got this for her and she is well pleased. it covers more than she is expected to teach(kindergarteners don't do colons) but the stuff she'll teach is done with wit wnd charm. the kids will like that.

Purchased the book for 9 year old grand daughter. The book provides children with easy method of determining punctuation. I would have liked this book at her age. I also know Mrs Bruno and this is the best of her works.

The book is both fun and informative. The pictures are cute, the story is interesting, and it teaches punctuation! What more could you want? :)

This is a great book, I used it in the classroom with my fourth graders and they love it. The poems are great for read-to/ write-to when the students are in the editing stage of the writing process.

Short and sweet, these poems are easily stuck in your child's head and yours. Hoping will lead to more presence of punctuation in their written work.

These poems and are fun. A great way to teach children the uses and names of various punctuation marks- needed for Common Core!
