Samantha Price has written a good series of Amish romance books. This book A Small secret is number 3and is about Sarah who finds herself pregnant after a time of romance and intimacy with John a worldly man. Since Sarah is contacted through Johns letters, she is led to believe that he is engaged to another woman and is lying to her about his undying love for her, Sarah. It looks like Sarah will be shunned if she in fact keeps her child. What will happen to this young mother?
I had to read this in one day. I couldn't put it down. It was really good. I took my reader with me so I could read in on the road and at the doctor office waiting for a friend. It was that good. I really felt sorry for Sarah. I was in her shoes once, but my parents weren't Amish. I can just see what she want thru.
This was a very good book. Not to often do you read about an Amish girl being with child without a wedding first. It takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions with the main character. I really did enjoy this book.. I really like this author. :)
Another great story in this series. The one thing I didn't like was it ended too quick. inn guessing the rest of their story is in the next book. I'll find out when I read the next book, huh? Once again this is a clean, Christian romance. I loved the scripture at the beginning of each chapter.
I liked the story very much. However the proof reading before publishing is in dire need of improvement. I do not like to figure out what words are supposed to be in the sentence and what ones should have been taken out in the proof reading
In this novel, A Small Secret, I enjoyed way better than the first two novel's in, Amish Romance Secrets! It allowed us to understand the Amish beliefs when you get pregnant while you are Amish, and by an English man. It gave me so much hope by putting your trust in God, and believing that God WILL take care of you, you just need to believe and trust God!
Learned many wonderful things about God's forgiveness and love and how He is always there for us, no matter how far we fall off the path. Thank you for writing about the struggles of a young Amish woman.
This is Book 3 in the series of Amish Romance Secrets and is very fine. Kate and Annie's sister wants a fling in the Englisch world and gets it and more than she wanted. She makes the right decision and is blessed for it.
