The artwork will draw your children into the book and the time spent searching through the pictures for hidden images will pay off as your children learn about the world into which Jesus was born. The book focuses on what Jesus and his friends might have been taught by their parents about their heritage and their God. My Sunday School class (ages K - 4th grade) all found this one not as much fun and a little too difficult. I also don't like the size of the book as it won't fit well on a cabinet or book shelf in our room. We have early bird free time while we are waiting for the lesson to start and this book usually sits on the shelf and doesn't get chosen by the children. The other search and find books get chosen by the children over and over but this one is not as user friendly. The pictures are pretty and accurate and I have used the book to illustrate a story but I'm not sure what age audience would enjoy the search and find aspect.
This was a gift for my Goddaughter... she loves to "read" it and now her little brother is enjoying it too.
