I wanted a book for my girls to read at church, and they LOVE this. It is probably a reprint of two books (bound together) from the 1950-60s, in the Little Golden Book style. The stories are great, and pitched at just the right level for 4-8yr old readers (for example martyrdom is not explained in a bloody way).
We love this book! It's a perfectly sized book that fits in my little girls hand and the stories and illustrations are wonderful!
My 3 & 5 year old girls love this book. I'll read aloud one story and they ask for more and more! Cheaper here on than local Catholic bookstores.
My 8 yr daughter loves this book. The stories are not too long but still interesting and the drawings are beautiful!
This is a great book. It's really sparked an interest in my little girl and has helped me begin to explore the lives of the wonderful saints. Thank you!
The size is just right for my 2.5 year old daughter. And the stories only take a couple of minutes to read which is a bonus at bedtime. The vintage pictures are adorable.
Had several of the classic female saints for my grandaughter's to learn about. It was at a good reading level for them. I will be looking for other easy read stories with more recent female saints.
