The Grand Canyon has nothing to do with evolution or ID. Young-Earth creationists use it as an icon for a young Earth, not ID. Poor book; there are many better ones about evolution and ID out there that use relevant examples.

Dr. Beal makes some very interesting and compelling arguments to show that a belief in a biblical reality does not necessarily exclude the possibility of evolution. He, in fact, claims that the bible could not be read literally if the earth had not been created hundreds of millions of years ago. This is a well written and comprehensive survey of recent thought about evolution and the bible.
