For children, this is a super way to introduce Jesus' life and important events. It keeps their interest on every page as they must find important symbols of Christianity. As they look for the symbols many different things are discovered in the pictures to learn of what life was like when Jesus lived and how it can be compared to life today.
I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday and we all love it. It is like an "I Spy" book, with biblical themes. At the beginning they show 10 items that will show up in each scene (e.g. a cross, a dove, angels, etc.). Then with each scene there are specific things to look for, with explanations in simple language. In the back are parent pages with suggestions for supplemental activities, such as reading a specific passage of Scripture, etc. This is a book that we will turn to many times, and we can do different things with it each time, and as she grows. We will get the other books in this series.
Great family activity book that offers new discovery and opportunities for discussion with every reading. Thoughtfully researched and written with beautiful illustrations. This is one of the treasures that your child will save to share with their own children.
My 6 and 3yo children think this book is great! We received it as a Christmas gift and they were thrilled with it immediately. You get to find a dove, an angel, a lamb and more in all the pictures, then there are special items to find specific to each picture. There are 13 searches documenting the life of Jesus, as well as parent guides to help you discuss with your child further, and a glossary. It's a great way to introduce our Savior to little ones, and keeps their attention for a long time.We took ours on a cross-country trip, and it was well used! We also stopped to pick up another in the series, Can You Find Saints?: Introducing Your Child to Holy Men and Women, and it was great to have one for each of them! My daughter (3 years old) just loves seek and find books, and I love that we can incorporate scripture with these! I really like all the extra things there are to find, and that you are asked to find people and things that have relevance to the text as well. Willl definitely get more in this series.

Bought this book for my 4 year old. He always wants to bring the Where's Waldo or Eye Spy books to church with us. I thought this would be more appropriate. He loves it, and so does his 8 year old brother. The stories are nice, not over whelming, and it has a great message.
Purchased for a baptism gift. I wanted to get a lighthearted gift for my niece. When is arrived, I realized it was much more. The pages are based off of Bible stories, so while my niece is playing the fun game of "finding Jesus," she will actually be learning about faith as well.
