This is a first (at least that I have seen)-a graphic novel based on a Bigfoot movie (and a pretty great one at that). The movie made its worldwide debut at the Ohio Bigfoot Conference last year, and I was among that premiere audience and really loved the movie. This graphic novel basically takes frames from the movie and puts them together as a comic book story. They also utilize the actual script of the movie rather than merely adapting it like most comic book adaptations of films do. The story is of a family in the 1960s which encounters a series of unusual encounters-sightings, footprints and unusual sounds of a large hairy creature, a Sasquatch or Bigfoot. The family is terrified by what they are experiencing and is at their wit's end trying to figure out what to do about the situation. It is great to see this movie adapted in this manner, and I would love to see a movie like Exists or Willow Creek adapted this way. This is a tremendous tie-in product to this great movie. Highly-recommended.
If you see the movie this is useless. Don't waste your money.
The book may be good but the print is in cartoon bubbles and it is hard to read. If this book was in regular book format, I might give it a higher rating.
