The Bible is not what we have been told by the Church. In the New Testament Jesus presents a God that is Spirit, unseen and misunderstood by all but the mystics. Now we can start to see the LORD God of the Old Testament for what he is; an uncaring psychopathic extraterrestrial. The truth has been there all along. We have just been misled as to the meaning of the words and the accuracy of the supposedly historical events.For those who believe every word in the Bible is true, start with the words translated by Mauro Biglino and see for yourself what is there. The LORD God of the Old Testament isn't magical, all powerful, or all knowing. Neither are the rest of the extraterrestrials that were here with him. They were a bunch of squabbling, petty, emotionally immature physical beings with a high level of technology. That doesn't make them Gods, it makes them as real and fallible as the people who rule our world today.The Gods of the Old Testament lied to us. They manipulated and controlled the people of their time. They demanded loyalty and unquestioning belief in their power and authority. Frankly, we have a choice that has been placed before us: we can continue to worship the extraterrestrials of the Old Testament as God, or, as we have been told, we can come to know the truth, and that truth will set us free.
I came across Biglino's work while doing research on the Sumerian Plagues, and was happy to see validation of what many have suspected for some time. If the original religious writings are based on fact, they show that the Deities of the ancient world were multiple; there wasn't just one single entity, (who was seemingly afflicted with a Multiple Personality Disorder!), who loved us on one hand, but wanted us dead on the other. "I hate you, don't leave me?"As bizzar-o as that may seem, in some ways it answers some of the age old weirdness found in Bible stories. The smoke, the lights, the odd shapes in the sky gleaming like burnished metal from the sun, resembles advanced technology more than anything else. Through credible researchers (although it's known there are many who can't claim that integrity), we've learned of Unidentified Flying Objects in the skies, abductions, and the possibility that extraterrestrials have been with us since the beginning of our existence on this planet. It creates a completely new paradigm to think about and discuss. The implications are mind-boggling, and opens up possible negative, as well as positive consequences for the human race.Biglino's translation doesn't necessarily prove an alien presence, but in my opinion it exposes the Old Testament and the Torah, as manipulated and plagiarized summaries of the much older Ancient Sumerian, Akkadian, and Aramaic writings. In the grand scheme of things, this is a huge deal. We've been lied to about every faction of our lives, i.e., history, medicine, science, our monetary system, the cosmos, etc., so it stands to reason that history pertaining to Christianity and Judaism may also be a lie, and probably much more so than the other areas.This is only the tip of the Ice-berg. Anxious to read more of Biglino's work.
using as a reference the "Codex Stuttgartensia", the version of the Ancient Testament that the 3 major monotheistic religions agree upon, the author has translated the original text using the literal approach.This means that, whichever version of the Bible you have at home, the book will guide you into reading the text in what seems to be the most obvious way but that is strongly opposed by the churches. The question that arises is: WHY?A book that has a strong impact, easy to read and preparatory to read the bible with eyes wide open.
I have read this book in its original Italian edition but, if the translation is faithful, the English edition should not be less marvelous. Biglino's works are entertaining and thought-provoking and make the reader wants to find out more about the Bible topics (indeed, here, by "bible" the author actually refers mostly to the Ancient Testament). Biglino has been translating from ancient Hebrew for many years and has also worked for the Vatican's publishing house; his work is rigorous and always supports his findings with academic references rather than the "alternative, Sitchin-like" publications. He is often confronted bitterly by the Jewish community about his works but it is also commended by the same people on certain topics. I strongly recommend this book to all open-minded people who want to know more about the stories of the Ancient Testament and the deeds and personality of a powerful being called YHWH.
