This annual almanac from Scholastic is a great resourcefor home (need to draw the flag of the Solomon Islands, and it's due tomorrow?)or for long car rides (What do a cat, giraffe, and camel have in common?).Either way, I really like this reference book. It's easy to read, colorful in its illustrations, in-depth with its factoids (did you know that Michigan has the longest freshwater shoreline in the world?).
I like this alminac more than national geo graphic kids, world alminac for kids, and time alminac for kids, becuase its really colorfull, and full of pictures.if your into music or the web this has alot of information on that.
This was a hit...great for easy reading on a loooooong road trip. 11 year old granddaughter really enjoyed this, said it was better than word find and crossword puzzles.
Many of the pages have very dark background which make them harder to read. Skip this one and buy the 2012.
