I really liked the history in this book and the way it is organized, and most of the pictures. But....it contains some pictures I do not want to cover with our kids yet....an Aztec human sacrifice, a man being tortured in the Inquisition, and an execution at the guillotine. I'm going to pass on this book until our kids are older.
Very well done, and quite comprehensive. An excellent resource for a homeschooler or in a classroom.
