One of the best if not the best commentary I have read. The author not only focuses on the views of other authors but also gives an insight into other concepts not previously noted. Highly recommend this author for those who would study God's word in such a way that produces more understanding.
Pastor David Guzik sets the standard for in-depth modern analysis of most every verse.The materials are so good that my senior Bible study teacher and class use Mr. Guzik's commentaries almostexclusively.
I love how Guzik is balanced in his commentary approach. Input from other commentators and the explanation of either the Hebrew nuances or the Greek syntax is often very helpful in bringing a deeper meaning into the passage. David's commentaries are easy to read and understand, while adding depth to personal, as well as ministry study. I used it quite often in my recent series in Ephesians.
Definitely worth the buy. I use Guzik's commentaries extensively in my sermon preparation work and personal Bible study time. Definitely worth it.
