I bought this for my son for a graduation present when he graduated VPK a few weeks ago. It is the perfect book to read to him about kindergarten. He is so excited to be going to kindergarten in the fall -- he absolutely loved this book! Would highly recommend to any VPK graduates!!

Bought this for my boss 4 year old for her preschool graduation. She reads this book every day. My boss says her daughter loves it

Enjoyed reading this to our kid the night before Kindergarten. It's fun to read aloud as the story walks you through a typical first day of Kinder. After the first week of school, we read it again and compared the things in the book with our kids actual first day of Kinder. I would recommend this to any kid starting school. Helps them understand what to expect.

This is a great book for getting ready for kindergarten!! We normally only read out daughter 2 short board books (until she will choose 1 longer book) and this book doesn't fit into that category. Every page is something different they might encounter and it's WONDERFUL! You can sit and read it all at once or read a few pages every night and have your child ask questions, like we do. It even made me take note to ask her school a few questions as well. Highly informative, a great reminder and a conversation starter!! Highly recommend!!

As a Pre-K grad gift it work out great! We loved it & plan to give this book to all our grads

I purchased this book as a "graduation" gift for my granddaughter. After reading the book I realized that she had experienced many of the tasks identified in the book already. That's okay. While reading the book we talked about what she already knew how to do. Also when school begins we're going to talk about what was new to her.My granddaughter is looking forward to kindergarten and it was enlightening to know that not everything would be different than pre-school.

Such a cute book that actually explains pretty well what kindergarten is like. My grandson started kindergarten this year and most everything in this bookwas the same. He went to school without the fear of the unknown and we still read the book every night and he compares what they do.

My son is starting kindergarten this year and he has gotten so excited with the help of this book. The rhymes made him smile and the content was perfect. Navigating the pages is also a unique experience as each poem highlights individually as you go!
