I am very happy with layout of the pages in this book. However, I wasn't prepared for it to be an 8 x 5 book instead of a 8.5 x 11. I didn't see that listed anywhere in the description. I had to enlarge photo copies to make it usable for my kids.
I bought this along with the Handwriting and Writing ones. They are very small but great learning material that my son is enjoying . He calls it his homework. It has perforated pages so they can be put on the fridge :) Can't beat the price and it shipped quickly. I took a picture next to a regular size one so you can see how small it is.
This is great for my six year old who is learning to perfect her letter formation. As a previous reviewer said, it could be too big or too small, but for my six year old it is great. Every child is different. It has worked great for us and I will continue to get these for my younger children when they start writing. Every page has a different letter to practice by seeing it, tracing it, then writing it freehand. Followed by numbers, then the last half of the book is writing sentences. It's really great value.
I like the set-up of this book. However, for this to be for Grade K, it is much too small to allow for writing practice. Younger kids tend to start out writing big and this book is pretty small for little hands to get where they need to be. It was a good price and we will hang on to it for more practice in the future, but a little to small for the K set in my opinion.
