Beautifully rendered narrative introduction to the wildlife of the Antarctic from the perspective of an Adelie penguin chick. Sweet and sensitively told in a way that a young audience can easily understand this complex ecosystem through a day in the life of one of its keystone species. It's also a great bedtime read! Highly recommended! My kids love it! The endpapers where you get to spot and name all of the creatures of the southern ocean are a particular favourite.
