What a wonderful reading to remind of how many blessings I have daily. This spiritualizes my thought for today knowing only the good God bestows upon me is what I want. When applying for a job a few days ago I read this when I was thinking about the employment. I really didn't want the job and wanted someone who needed it more than me to receive the position. I haven't received a call for the employment position but I did realize all of my needs are being met even without that job. Thanks to daily supplies I am grateful for the day at hand and truly am blessed right now. This is a great read for everyone looking for employment and not receiving a response .
This book contains 12 teachings of Christian Science from the years 1917 to 1921. Each subject covered I found helpful in different situations in life.This book was meaningful to mebecausecI found it gave the Christian Science prespective on these teachings.My favorite sections were:. Our Daily Bread. Many Mansions. EnoughI highly recommend this book.
A different perspective on religion and life. Articles are fairly short, but they are inspiring, refreshing and relaxing. There are those who will not agree with this point of view, but that is okay. I found it calming and relaxing, as well as inspiring - sort of like a mountain top view of a beautiful valley or lake. However, this view took place in my mind, as I was reading the articles in my own backyard. It is also historical, as the articles were written in the early 1900's. Some of the articles mirrored somewhat what is taking place today. Parts of some articles were a little hard to understand, but the bottom line is that these articles are promoting love, joy, peace, and security, at least they did for me. I have no doubt at all about the sincerity of theauthors. In addition, to what I mentioned above, it is also a natural sleep aid. Not a bad deal for 99 cents..
A very inspiring collection of articles all with a similar focus. I like having it readily available on my Android Kindle.
