As always, Wendell Odom's CCNA book set is the one to turn to for any CCNA exam. I run a training company that teaches 15 - 20 people in CCNA courses a month and these are the books that we always hand out with the course. The information is concise and to the point. Everything that you need to know for your CCNA exam is contained in these books. Don't forget to practice with hands on labs as well.
Just got the book today and it also included CCENT/CCNA ICND 100-105 book. Two for the price of one!
Bought this book by the ciscopress website as that time it was at a cheaper price than in + the shipping to taiwan. Package includes two books for CCENT(ICND1) and ICND2 topics so you could think over if you would go with the 2 path or composite exam.I am overwhelmed by the size of the books but the author clearly explains a way to study with this materials so don't skip reading the introduction parts :) and every start of the chapter indicates which part of the exam would be tackled so I suggest listing it all up as you go through the chapters so you could easily go back to those exam topics you need to study further.Also for those who plan to take the composite exam there's a table for Parts/Chapters sequence incorporating the 2 books :)so before starting out to study, layout your study plan first, have all your materials lined up for more organized study and not to be overwhelmed and lost.pretty much confident that with thorough review and understanding on these books plus other supplementary video tutorials lab actual/sim would be enough to get you through the exam :)
Two big fat books of Cisco goodness. I haven't gotten into it that far yet. I have confidence that editing mistakes will be non-existent considering the source.
