This is an Excellent and well written book.. After spending 20 years in the "christian church" I was one day led , (almost forced) by the holy spirit to start questioning everything that I had been taught. And on my own, with the holy spirits guidance, Found the same teachings that are written in this book. One person after another that has "Come out of Babylon" has had the same experience, testimony, and better yet, Finding out the REAL TRUTH. Satan has used Christianity for the last 2000 years to keep people away from the TRUE way of our Messiah. Praise Yahweh for Men and Women like Scott Shoob that have the Courage to write these types of Books. My wife for the last 3-4 years has told me that I need to write a book Just like this, and If I ever did, it would cover the same topics. This is one of the more challenging (in an excellent way) books on the Bible and Christianity I have found. Made me think and question beliefs I had carried since childhood. Not sure I agree with every assertion the author makes, but I will be going back to study this again. We are told to be like the Bereans who tested everything against Scripture. Mr. Shoob does this, using no extra-Biblical sources whatsoever. I learned a lot.
Excellent Book! Scott has done a great job in explaining in simple, easy to read descriptions of what christainty teaches. Truth is shared about what Scripture really teaches, it will open your eyes! I recommend giving it to anyone who is searching for the right path to take.
I first read his book on the Kindle deal for $1. It was longer than expected to just read outright, but I am also a researcher of the Bible, Torah and feel this book is RIGHT ON! I purchased 3 copies, and would like to have purchased more for others who need this. This writer truly has the scoop, the true scoop, and so needed right now.
This book was very well written and I would have given it 5 stars except I strongly disagree with the author on the conception of the Messiah, and it became a stumbling block for me in wanting to share this book with others (lest they think I agree with his conclusion). But for those that are well grounded in their faith I would highly recommend it.
This has been the best $1.00 I have spent in my life. I wish i was a wordsmith to where I could convince my friends to read this. If you are seeking and wanting to be obedient then this is definitely for you. Do you have it all figured out and are comfortable where you are? This is even more so for you!
Amazing that after years of study, changing denominations for finding fault with them, not buying John 3:16 as the only essential belief but instead pure gnosticism. I have tried to discuss the meaning of the scripture for years, not willing to compromise, but have often been told that I "majored in minors", I was " wrong", and "it doesn't matter", then had quoted verses shoved down my throat by bible bashing Christians who memorize an astonishing number of verses out of context hut don't understand the lessons and content of immediately surrounding verses, the meaning if individual words, etc.. I did find great fault with one statement in this book, while at the same time an explanation that helped me finally understand the first chapter of John. I have to admit, I came to most of the same conclusions myself little by little over the years, but had never discussed or read from anyone all of them in one concise place, nor with the verses explained.I have always had trouble believing Mary was a virgin, not because I didn't want to; but because I couldn't any more than I can swallow an elephant like a snake, or bench press 5,000 pounds. Early believers didn't have all the scriptures available then that we have today, or even lived before it was written. And surely I still don't understand all there is to know, but there are essentials and this book focuses on you understanding those choices are based not on our imagination, traditional interpretation of scripture, but the meaning of Yahusha's word.
This is so well made I am struggling to find words to describe it. YHWH has been working in me the sane exact way and I've realized the exact sane things as I read in this book. There was one part I must admit I am not fully in agreement with, but I humble myself before YHWH and ask Him to reveal to me what is true. Other than that, this was a huge encouragement and just summarized everything I know my Father has shown me and I pray I will be even more bold in proclaiming and living this truth.
