Wonderful book about a wonderful facility (Noah's Ark in Georgia) that cares for abused animals of all kinds. They treat animals with dignity and respect. Animals are rescued from lives of abuse and confinement from small zoos, animal shows, circuses, people's pets, etc. This book talks about the care and love given to the lion, tiger, and bear. Each page has lovely pictures. There are maps to show where the animals' original homelands are so the book teachers a lot of information. In case you were wondering, it is a LION not a LIONESS......... when lions are neutered, they don't grow a mane.
The pictures are awesome and the story well written. It depicts the story of the BLT (Bear, Lion, and Tiger), three animals that share a habitat. They have been together for 13 years and can teach us all to get along. I have been fortunate to have visited Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary where they live - go if you get the chance!
I bought this book for my Grandson after we went to "Noah's Ark" in Locust Grove, Ga. and saw the actual tri of animals. This is something he will be able to share with his kids, along with the pictures from his visit to the Animal Rescue Park.
My son loved this book so much. It touched my heart, too. Please share this with everyone you can because our children need to be able to discuss friendship and love with others that are "unlikely friends". Beautiful story.
This book is so cute and is easy for beginning readers. I love how cute (and true!) the story is. Love it, love it, love it!
Great for kids and adults. Their story simply told with awesome pictures for all to enjoy. Rock on BLT!!
The book is a perfect description of this unique bond between 3 species that would not have associated with each other in the wild. Great for young kids.
I love the story of these three. I follow them at their home at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Georgia and hope to someday visit.
