bought this to read at night with my 2 daughters, ages 10 1/2 and 8. it truly only takes 3 minutes. gives a verse, a small reading and then a prayer. while some of the devotions are about circumstances neither one of my girls has been through, i still read them. one day they will go through a situation and i hope they will remember what we read. they enjoy it and if i forget, my oldest will remind me. it has prompted some very good conversations about our faith. at this age, with short attention spans and busy schedules, these devotions are perfect. a great introduction for them. my 8 year old asked why i don't do them with my 5yo son. so now i'm off to find something appropriate for him!
I am sure the devotionals are good, but the writing is very hard to read for a 12 year old. It is pink lettering and very small font. I have ordered a different devotional bec this very unreadable. I plan to return this one.
I purchased this devotional book for my 9 year old niece and she loves it. She reads a devotion a night with my sister in law. Reading from this devotional book nightly has not only helped build her relationship with God, but has helped build her vocabulary.
I am not a product reviewer usually, but I really LOVE this devotion. There are beautiful truths within these pages explained in terms young girls can understand. I have a rather innocent almost 9 year old daughter and she can relate to the stories and they have started great conversations between us. This book has enriched are prayer time before bed each night.
I bought this for my granddaughter and she absolutely love it. She wanted a devotional for Christmas and this one was perfect for her age of 10. She was so pleased that she now asks for a journal for any special occasion where a gift would be appropriate. I highly recommend it
Excellent for young girls. The font is a little small and with the pink color can be a little hard to read.
Love to use this with my 10 year-old. Super short but applicable lessons. We can chat about them and apply them to her life. Some are a bit "cheesy" but we just use the story as a jumping off point. I love that I can do these each night at bedtime and end with a positive lesson.
I purchased this for my 14 year old daughter and she LOVES it! I think it is a perfec tbook put together especially for teenage girls who are always looking for something to post on social media. This gives her something positive to think about every day!
