This was an amazing man, but he himself thought it was just a normal way for a christian to live. Maybe he was right. But what does that say about our christian lives nowadays? This is an updated version of the original work. It is an easy read. I wonder what the original was like. All in all, VERY MUCH WORTH READING. This man's GOD is incredible! What is so beautiful about it, is that his God is ACTIVE in his life every day in a miraculous way! And his God always acted in accordance with the Bible. Looks like we need to look again, much deeper, at that wonderful old book, the BIBLE.

This is my second time writing this rating so I guess its powerful. My internet connection got interrupted. I bought this book for my husband who is learning more about healing and annointing prayer. He feels that Smith Wigglesworth is one of his mentors. Smtih grew up illiterate and learned to read and write as an adult. He was not always a "warm" personality but that was because he believed so strongly in God and felt that he had to fight Satan to restore people'e health. He even sometimes would put his hand so forcefully on a person's body, on the area to be healed, that he hurt them unintentionally. Vanessa

When I received this book, I was very anxious to read and seek to know what Smith Wigglesworth thought as the Lord continued to anoint and use him in many ways as he travelled the world. There was such deep meaning and insight into each encounter that I never would have noticed had he not pointed them out. The scriptures came alive as Smith would tell what he saw and revealed the scripture on which he based his thoughts and teachings. With each page I grew more and more enthused with and excited over learning how to walk closer and closer to Jesus. I am thrilled with this book and Smith Wigglesworth's teachings. I would recommend it to anyone who hungers and thirsts for more of the Lord. I have not had one bad experience when puchasing books from .com.

Such a man of God. When the Lord got a hold of him He did some beautiful things. I love the passion Smith had for Jesus and his desire to always be in the Spirit. It seems that ordinary life did not get in his way and with his devotion to being in the Word to what some might think was excess, I think is awesome. You really can't go overboard loving Jesus and in Smith's life he did great things in a way of honoring God and after reading this book, it has given me a strong desire and thirst to know God in such an intimate way and to please him with my life.

I haven't finished it yet, however Wigglesworth stated no one could be filled with the Holy Spirit if they were not pure and cleansed already. He specifically stated no one could be filled with the Holy Spirit if they smoked. I was. [no longer smoke]. I recognize he is known as a great man of God, however not everything someone says, just because they are known as that, means it is absolutely true.

Such wonderful insight from Wiggly Smith on operations and anointing of Holy Spirit. Believe it or not, this book actually, through the Spirit of God has delivered me from dipping tobacco. Smith goes into detail about in his experience, the anointing of the Holy Ghost not staying with people who drink liquor and smoke cigarettes, this brought to the forefront of my mind that maybe I haven't received all that the Lord has for me.Praise the Most High God for my deliverance!

A wonderful book about God's anointing, and that anointing being available to the born again Christian. You will be inspired as you read, knowing that God changes not.

One of the most inspiring of all the people I've ever known who have known the Lord. This is someone who couldn't wait to get up in the morning to see what God had in front of him to do. I would love to live the life like he lived and he says we can!
