After the events of the last issue, the partners get summoned to HQ for a briefing. When they are there, Aoba meets another girl who also is a polzi, only to later discover that she was Midori's former partner Akari. Now Aoba and Akari are in a battle to see who is really Modori's partner, and who needs to leave. But when an internet scandal leads to something more sinister, who will Midori support and who will be left behind?I loved Girlfriends and Cherry Blossom Pink, but this two volume series was a little lacking. I liked the backstory of Akari and Midori (their pasts were pretty dark), but there was no development for Aoba and Midori's relationship. I think she could have extended it one more volume, with a triangle romance option and having Midori choose who she wanted to be with. I hope her next series will go back to the girlfriend formula, maybe with an older couple, or even a workplace romance story.
