“Twenty Mysteries of the Rosary Coloring Book” is full size 8.5 x 11 inch book to help children (and adults) learn how to pray the rosary and the "good news" of Jesus Christ from the Bible. It includes original illustrations for each mystery that are inspired by art masterpieces for each of the twenty mysteries of the rosary on its own page. The mysteries cover important events in the lives of Jesus and his mother Mary. It also has a section from “Rosary Meditations: The Gospel in Miniature” also by Kathryn Marcellino including instructions on how to meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary as well as a Bible reading, Bible story (or other information), and a short reflection along with another coloring page for each mystery. The reflections are meant to be an encouragement to be a follower of Jesus Christ and to love God and others. There is also a section explaining how the Rosary is a Biblical prayer and ideas on how to pray as a family, and a brief overview of the Old Testament as an introduction to understanding the Gospel message. Also included is a short version of the story of Our Lady of Fatima and a coloring page of Jesus Blessing the Children with a Bible reading and reflection.

I love this coloring book. Our parish is so large that we arrive at least 40 minutes early to get a seat and pray. My young daughters, 5 and 9, color in it before Mass begins. I love it because they get to think about the Mysteries of the Rosary as they color. When they color in their books it always provokes discussion and thoughts about Jesus' life. You can buy this book for every age- even adults. It makes a great gift.

This coloring book is absolutely beautiful. I portrays the mysteries of the Rosary so well. I use it for my younger kids to color during Mass. I have bought two of these books, and will repurchase, again, when we run low.
