Griffin's series on the rangers is a good read for those int the Western genre. Enjoy!
Jim Griffin's fifth entry in the growing western epic tale of Nate Stewart throws more than a handful of trouble at the young Texas Ranger. Bullets fly, blood's spilled, snow falls, and deadly, sucking mud threatens horse and rider alike. From fights with renegade cattle thieves and Black Dog's Commanche warriors to struggles against extremes of climate and trials of the heart, readers of all ages will feel the impact of Nate's world through Jim Griffin's clear, clean prose. As before, Griffin shows his knowledge of the west throughout. I especially enjoyed a quick lesson on the fast draw. Much recommended.
A very good surprising story about life inside a squad of Texas Rangers - It differs from other stories that focus is on the men in the unit and the issues the face and conquer,

I have read all 5 in this series and can't wait for another. Best if read in the order they are written. I highly recommend this series and this author.
