The Magic Tree House books are a MUST READ collection for all children. Unlike many other series for young readers, the Magic Tree House should be read in chronological order to best appreciate Jack and Annie's travels through time as they go on various missions; which are typically completed in four parts. Parents and educators will enjoy going along for the ride as much as their students! My daughter is a teenager now but she still gets excited when she sees a new tree house adventure has come out.

This book, by Mary Pope Osborne is 10th in an excellent series, the Magic Tree House stories. This is a wonderful antholgy for children between ages of 7 and 12. From ghosts playing the piano to rustlers stealing wild horses, this is is a great book about the wild west.So I recommend you pick this book up and start reading it as soon as you can!!!

I am a 5 (almost6) year old boy and I love this book. I think other 6 year olds will also like this story. I don't want to ruin it but I loved the secret about the author of the book that took them to Ghost Town. That's why I gave it 5 stars. I recommend this book to my sister also.

I like Magic Tree house because Pennsylvania is a state. That means that Jack and Annie might be real! - a five-year-old.

This was another AWESOME book in The Magic Tree house series... We have read all the books, so far, in this series. This adventure ranks up there with the first 3 or 4 books in the series. We are very excited to get started reading book #11 -- Lions at Lunchtime. We definitely recommend book #10, and encourage everyone to get to know Slim Cooley, the cowboy!

Jack and Annie travel through space and time and to the days of the wild west and are guided by the instructions on the book, "Days of the Wild West", which was supplied by Morgan Lee Fay, only to discover that the man they met in the old west was the actual author of the book.Great book and a great use of the imagination.

You should read this book because it is a cool book about ghosts. Jack and Annie went on a mission to a ghost town. They needed to find everybody before midnight. They also need to solve two riddles. When Jack and Annie went to solve the riddle, they found a cowboy that helped them solve one of them. If you want to solve the two riddles, then read the book.

Magic Tree House books are so amazing. My 4 year old loves them, and I love how each one is so different, and seems to be so historically accurate. I especially love when she started adding "Facts for you and Jack", with more information about the time and the location they visited in the story.
