GREAT book! reinforces vowel sounds, digraphs and diphthongs in colorful worksheets that have very little to no writing. my 4 year old is doing great with them! lots of variety in the book! well worth it to supplement a curriculum.
Bought this for summer review for 7 yer old grandson. Also bought grade 3 but have not completed grade 2. The activity directions are clear and easy to follow so not difficult to get grandson interested.
My wife is. a Special Needs Reading Teacher of many years experience. She always uses this book in aiding her teaching of Handicapped Adults.
Good phonics help. I think it's a little basic for the second grade level and we are actually using it earlier but still a good workbook.

This is a good book. My almost first grader flew through it. It wasn't as challenging as I had hoped but he is still learning over the summer which was my main goal.
