Update 2014 - Yes I'm aware that for some reason has combined both this Far Side Gallery 4 product page with the next book Far Side Gallery 5 and reviews for both products are being mixed together confusing some people who don't realise 's error. Both books are great but to prevent someone buying the wrong book based on any information in my review I have edited this review to clearly outline which book is being reviewed. This review was obviously written for Gallery 4 but I have added a review of Gallery 5 at the bottom as well, since I own both. A tip if you're reading anyone's reviews on this page and they mention a specific Far Side comic you are after is to look at the line under the reviewer's name (note this doesn't show on the initial product page in spotlight reviews, you need to click on the link see all reviews and sort by most helpful or latest), anyway under the reviewer's name you will see some orange coloured words This Review if From and then either black words or blue words to the product reviewed which will tell you if it is Gallery 4 or 5.The initial review of Gallery 4Gary Larson has created the funniest cartoons in the history of mankind. Unlike other comics you do not need to read them in a series as each individual cartoon tells its own hilarious story in a stand alone fashion. Therefore you do not need to have read the previous volumes to enjoy this edition to its fullest.Fourth in the series of Far Side collections, the 1994 originally released Gallery 4's cartoons come from the smaller books Wildlife Preserves, Wiener Dog Art and Unnatural Selections. This volume is forwarded by Robin Williams who gives a four paragraph opinion on Larson and his work.
