Manga Classics is the only graphic novel adaptation series I've read that tries - and succeeds - at including most of the original plot (just compare page counts with other adaptations if you don't believe me). This book also includes a lot of original Austen text (narration and dialogue). It would be a great aid for a student who's having trouble with the full text, like a student learning English or someone with special needs. But it's also just a fun read. The characters are all drawn differently so the story is easy to follow, the fashions and houses are fabulous, and you really get drawn into the story of these sisters. If you love Austen's book, and the Emma Thompson movie, this is a great addition to your collection.
A great manga classic for everyone to have young or old, I can't wait for the remaining two to come out.
