So yeah, I made the mistake and bought this thinking it was volume 2 of the manga, but it's actually the second light novels, so now I have volume 1 of the manga, and volume 2 of the light novels. It still follows the same storyline and all, and is still good, but be aware of which format it is you're buying. I really wish they would make it more obvious on so that idiots like me don't get confused.
Ordered this expecting the manga version....and after viewing the comments I'm glad I wasn't alone on this, but instead got the light novel. Which means I have Vol. 1 Manga and Vol. 2 light novel. I wish had some indicator of what you were getting. I just found it strange since Vol. 1 was also ordered from here earlier this year...and has no option to buy the light novel of Vol. 1. However minutes after receiving the item contacted , and they said they were willing to issue me a full refund and I don't have to return the item. Which was awful nice of them. The light novel itself is really great. The light novels of manga often go into much more detail than the manga/anime. Its basically the same thing, but explains a it more.
Second vol. and still love it. It's not up to the anime yet as of now, but still enjoy to read it out in a more detail way. Anime tends to skip some part here and there so the novel help fill that out and make it even more enjoyable.
Was expecting ths light novel, and that's what I got.A good read for fans of the anime or the first volume. Though there's some odd translations and/or typos, they can be overlooked in favour of the quality of the story.
Though I wish they would have kept the original words for the shiritori game instead of using their own words for the translation, I love the light novel. I am happy the anime follows the light novel so closely. The people who dock stars because of the mistake they made thinking this was the manga should be ignored. Their mistake does not reflect the light novel itself, which is what this is.
I did the same mistake and mistook this for the manga but its just the novel slightly dissapointed, but this description did not say that it was just regular novel. Stay away if you want the manga. Its still a good read otherwise.
Booh! I hoped it was the 2nd would be a comic book style manga, like the first one,but it was a actually a novel, all text, no manga! Really my stupid fault for not readingthrough the description entirely, but I thought the manga continued onward into a 2ndmanga, nope it turned into a random book. Disappointing that they forsake the manga for text based novels, but w/e all is well! Might give it a read when I am done beingoverwhelmed with disappointment!
It's enjoyable light reading. I got exactly what I expected, something easy to read, relax to and lighten my mood. The characters are predictable, but that's ok. Don't over think when reading it.
