I purchased this set for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves the Magic Tree House series and I thought this would be a similar series with a Christian worldview. The books were very easy, fun reads for her. Although she thoroughly enjoyed them all, I think this set is more geared toward the grade 2-3 reading level, or the struggling grade 4 reading level. My seven-year-old received these as a gift and absolutely loves them. He read all of the books in this particular set in just a couple of weeks, and he's not typically that interested in books (he likes to read but has a very short attention span). If you have a fan of Magic Treehouse, these are a fantastic option that provide a Christ-centered worldview.
My 9 year old son loved these so much he took them to school! And now the kids in school are waiting in line to read them. Needless to say I will be ordering some more.
These are at about a 2nd grade reading level. They can be compared to Magic Tree House books, but these have morals intertwined.
My 8-year old son LOVES these books. He's a new reader and was skeptical at first, but now he is asking for the rest of the set.
I started a book of the month club with my two granddaughters, and they love the books. Great stories, great values.
