We love this book as well as the others in the series. The illustrations are so colorful and beautifully done. So cute! My 1 and 3 year olds count them among their favorites for sure. They are a great size for popping into your purse or diaper bag to bring out at restaurants for entertaining busy little ones. They are also great for worship time as they are a perfect length and can be sung while looking at the adorable pictures. Great as gifts. I bought all three in this series and this is my favorite because I love the message that Jesus is with us everywhere. The author has chosen fun places to illustrate, and the words fit easily to the tune of Jingle Bells. Also buy her "Jesus Loves Me" which takes you thru all the times of day and reminds you that Jesus loves you. As the Early Childhood Director of a church, we give them out as new baby gifts to all babies born in the congregation. A great little book and a great price!
This cuddle and sing book teaches children that God never leaves them, no matter where they go. Singing this book to your kids is an amazing experience especially for Dads.
We received this book as a gift for Christmas. My son is 24 months old and in one month's time has memorized this book and now "reads" it to us! This is the first book he has "read" although it is the newest addition in our collection. He LOVES this book!We have quite a large collection of board books (that we raised our 6 year old daughter with) and read several board books to him every day. Even though we have many Christian children's board books (Baby Bibles, etc) my kids would never request them. I think they lack rhyme and repetition to hold a young child's interest.However, I would rank this book by Debby Anderson right up there with my children's other favorite titles (Time for Bed by Mem Fox, Dr. Seuss's board books, and Sandra Boynton's board books, etc.)This book has great pictures, a wonderful message that grows with the child's understanding, and easily reads with the tune. Great find! I'll be buying the other titles too!
2 year old granddaughter now has all 3 of these books (Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Loves the Little Children). Unlike the other two, this is not an actual sing that she hears in Sunday school. This one is sung to the tune of Jingle Bells...I was not sure I would like that, but I do. She loves these books and reads them constantly, and they are the perfect size to put in her toddler purse so she carries them when they go out also. She loves to have the songs sung to her, and is so sweet when she tries to sing them herself...she is learning the words. Perfect toddler books.
My sister got these books for my daughter for Christmas. I have to admit, I didn't like them at first mostly because instead of "stories" they are songs. But, my daughter ended up LOVING these books! I have to admit I like to read them now simply because I know she enjoys them so much.
This book is my son's favorite. He has loved it since he was 2 months old. The illustrations are so eye-catching that he was interested in it already at such a young age. Each character is simply drawn and colored in with bold primary colors. The spaceship page is my son's favorite; his eyes would follow the spaceship as I would "blast" it up in the air! I highly recommend this book. It's our favorite in the series. Great message too. Really reinforces what we'd like him to learn.
This book is not only delightful to look at, it's sturdy and holds up well under the wear and tear of being handled by little hands. The message is just as solid as the design, and teaches the concept that Jesus is with your child anywhere, anytime! My son has loved this book ever since he was a baby, and now at age 3, he still likes it!
