I am a children's ministry director for a small church. Sometimes we have to combine several age groups together, so I wanted a curriculum plan that combined a lesson for all the ages. I read the description of this All Together Now series and it sounded perfect. What a disappointment! When it arrived I reviewed several lessons; each lesson plan called for outrageous props, supplies, and tools that a small church classroom just doesn't have. It wasn't even the outrageous items needed, it was also the amount of items needed for just one lesson. For example, several lessons needed "teen actors" and costumes along with several other props that were just ridiculous.The description definitely said you had to gather a FEW, EVERY Day items for these lesson, but this was not true. For this reason, we returned the book.
By far my favorite lesson book for multi ages--I use it for Children's church instead of Sabbath School. The kids love it--parents are amazed too!
Lots of good ideas for our preschool through elementary age Sunday School.
A must read for leader and members of any body.
