Ebooks Online

In this lively picture book that Booklist described as "a cheerful color-concept book that presents a slice of Latino culture through food and fun," children discover a world of colors all around them: red is spices and swirling skirts, yellow is masa, tortillas, and sweet corn cake. Many of the featured objects are Latino in origin, and all are universal in appeal. With rich, boisterous illustrations, fun-to-read rhyming text, and an informative glossary, this playful concept book will reinforce the colors found in every child's day!

This delightful book teaches the names of colors in spanish and some of the foods and customs associated with different colors. The illustrations are endearing and unique in the color tones you see on the cover. This is a buoyant book which introduces children to spanish vocabulary and colors.

Love love love. One of my favorite books for kids to learn colors in Spanish. The illustrations are beautiful and the rhyming is well done. My preschool kids loved it, but I'm sure you could read it to younger elementary students and they'd enjoy it as well.

I've bought many color books but many are boring, however this book has great pictures that my daughter loves. I love the bi-lingual and cultural aspect including glossary in the back. Importantly, after reading this book for two weeks straight, I still enjoy it!

What a fun way to practice colors! We really enjoyed this book. It's going on the blog list.-rawhitebooksandmore.weebly.com

Excellent book for teaching vocabulary and reinforcing colors. The rhyming text flows well.
