This commentary is just what one needs to help prepare an effective lesson. I use this tool and have found it to be thorough in explaining the subject matter. I highly recommend this publication. The large print edition is excellent for the visually impaired.
I love this Bible Study Series and that is why I did not hesitate to purchase the new edition. Of course, I am rating this based on the previous edition as by the time of this review, the studies in this new edition have not begun. However, I will say that I flipped through the book and noticed little tweaks here and there, such as in the "What Do You Think?" and "Talking Points" sections. As I said in the review of the previous edition, I like this series because it benefits so many...this study can work for large groups, small groups and even the independent thinker, like me. Pastors, Ministers and even Bible study teachers can use the outlines provided to set up their lessons/ lectures. The publishing company has a website that is free to join. On this website are free downloadable worksheets that further examine what was covered in the lessons. There is an Involvement Learning Section for work in groups as well as an activity that lets users apply principles from the weekly lessons to their daily lives.This book is worth the purchase- it has changed my approach to Bible Study as well as helped me truly understand and enjoy what I have learned.
I have found the Coommentary Book to meet all standards regarding the Sunday School Lesson/Book. I have been purchasing these booklets for over 10 years. Also, I purchased one for a couple of my friends.
Just what I needed.
Love the large print and as expected this commentary is well planned and presented.
I have been buying this lesson commentary for years.
It is not as easy to navigate as the book.
