SUICIDE SQUAD VOL.3DEATH IS FOR SUCKERSThis third collection consists of issues 14-19 and for some was a mixed bag. It ends up being either someone’s favorite or very much the opposite because of the Joker/Harley reunion and how that plays out. I still am unsure how I really feel about how their story played out but that is a conversation for another time. In this issue we see the above story followed by the continuation of the Regulus storyline. For me this collection continues greatly, still love it.The Squad is in shambles after their last battle and things are about to get worse. Someone form a team members past is about to pay them a little visit, The Joker. He easily gets past all security to get to “his Harley”, only this is not a pleasant reunion. Harley has not been faithful and her returning ex is not happy with her. It is this part of the collection that may be the strongest of the set. Anytime these two are together it gets crazy and that tradition continues here but in a very unpleasant way and that is saying something. Like I said before I am still unsure about all of this. At first I hated that Harley was turning away from The Joker and they were going at each other, but after a few more reads I am enjoying the story more so it seems. Also I really love the way the story here ends, she just might become his Harley yet.Next up the team is put back together with some being literally brought back to life. A familiar foe may have resurfaced and they are back on the hunt. The team must go to some dirty places and even face family in their new mission. This portion of the book continues the main story the Squad has been going through.
