You should have this book because it has the stuff you need to look up! And if you don't know how to do something at school it can help. It tells how to get started writing a paper and how to do oral reports and math. It is colorfull and has stuff like animals and money and the state you live in and things you don't even expect, like the real names of writers and which dinosaur is dumbest! In my opinion you'll learn a lot from this book!
This is purely wholesome fun for the kids and the whole family. There are excellent topics and ideas to start a discussion. Some facts are even enlightening if used effectively. For example, after reading the page entitled "Body Count", it would be refreshing to tell the kids (or even adults) that we are meant to be smiling rather than frowning as it takes just 14 muscles to smile but 43 to frown. This book makes learning interesting and light even for the whole family and opens a world of discovery that would probably keep you smiling for hours.
I bought this almanc for my son, who refers to it all the time now, not just for book reports and such, but also to look up all kinds of everyday information based on what he sees on TV, in books, and in school. His teacher recommended it to me because they get TIME for Kids in class [....] I use it also! It's really easy to find fast information on just about everything. And it's really graphically appealing with great design and photography! It's awesome -- the best I've ever seen for kids.
Excellent product, my son read a few pages each day and love all the information and facts that he is learning on this excellent reference book.
