This is a review inspired by my 9 yr. old nephew who couldn't wait to have this edition as he was over the moon with the 2013 edition. He loves reading about a myriad of topics and can't seem to get enough of these info packed books.
My 7 year old does not like reading, I've searched high and low for a book he would enjoy. This is that book! He reads it daily and often goes back to certain pages to read them over and over. I'm so pleased that he likes it and that it's educational.
My 10 year old has been getting this book every year for the last few years and it never disappoints! He is fascinated by the facts and pictures. It is both fun and educatiional. A great purchase
Amazing facts and figures. Full of pictures. Easy to understand. Main intent is to keep kids interested in books and this one serves the purpose. My 9 year old loves it. Reads before going to bed. Highly recommended.
My 10 year old daughter loves this book! She is very into animals. She has the previous year's almanac and loved it so when this one came out she had to get it.
She absolutely loves it. She received large cards of animals and always shows them to me. She is learning to love and respect animals and their differences.
These are awesome. Save yourself the boredom of reading the same story every night to your kids. This one will keep you interested and learning too.
