I initially bought this book for my son after seeing WALL-E in the theater. I didn't expect much but he really was into the film so I figured it might be good for a couple reads.Turns out this is a really phenomenal book with some great art work. The story pretty much mirrors the film from start to finish so it was really easy for him to follow (he's only 2). But the art style is what I enjoy the most. It appears to be concept art that was compiled simply for the book and it has a really warm and loving feel to it.Highly Recommended!

My 2 1/2 year old son loved this movie (his first at the theatre), so we bought this book. It is great! It tells the story of the movie in a condensed version. He loves for me to read it over and over. Even if you have not seen the movie, this is a great book to have.

This book is awful on many levels. #1. The story doesn't follow the movie at all; #2. The artwork is really odd--almost like a rough draft or sketches that never got finalized; and #3. It's written so poorly that even if you bought it with no expectations (hadn't seen the movie), you would think "this story sucks."I don't mean to be disrespectful to the person who wrote it, but the best comparison I can think of is that it seems like it was written by a middle-schooler trying to recall the plot of the movie a month after he/she saw it. There are pages that have two or three short sentences on them like "WALL-E hid. WALL-E followed EVE. WALL-E got lost." etc. You don't get any of the great story from the movie, so you don't know why WALL-E and EVE are doing what they're doing. You just know that WALL-E wants to find EVE and hold her hand.I read a few of the other reviews to see if anyone else had my same reaction (several folks did). I'm kind of surprised by the reviews that say the book is great. It has me wondering if there is more than one version out there. There is no way someone could read the version I have and be anything but disappointed.Bottom line: do not buy this book. There are dozens of better ones.

Terrible. Not worth the money AT ALL. I got this for my son because he LOVES Wall-E and EVE, however the story was horribly retold in this book. I mean horribly! We read it once and that was more than enough times...

I've loved Little Golden Books since I was little and that was a REALLY long time ago! They used to cost 25 cents! Wow, have things changed! But what hasn't changed is the quality of the books and the care with which they are produced! These are wonderful to read to your children and as they grow, they can learn the words and read it themselves! My little one LOVES Wall-e and was really happy to get this book!

This Little Golden Book has the typical "bible-thin" pages that I wish were a little sturdier, but otherwise it's a great book. It sticks to the general story line of the movie and my kids have lots of fun "reading" it and retelling the story based on the pictures they see.

I got this for my daughter because she LOVES this movie. I love Little Golden Books and this was no exception. A great accompaniment for the movie. Will be great when she learns to read to- easy to read, nice images.

I like how little golden books are still going strong. My daughter loves wall-e and this was a nice, cheap addition to her golden book library. Covers the story pretty well. Not too long, not too short, and cute pictures.
