My 23 month old loves this book! What's not to love... A story about a dragon with a great imagination, with lots of great sounds in the book (whomp, plonk, yeow) which he loves, and a surprise friendship ending. It's adorable and encourages a love of reading from an early age.
This is one of those sweet books that is beautifully illustrated as well as being fast paced for the youngest listeners. At the end, you will say "awww" and want to read it all over again. I can see this being a bedtime ritual for many young kids!

We just happened to find this book at the library but I'm already wanting to add it to our collection at home. What's not to love? Beautiful illustrations, a nicely-flowing story, and a book that's about how enjoyable reading can be. My 3yo and I are eagerly anticipating more from this author!
I am reading a dragon book and my 3 year old daughter wanted a dragon book also and this was perfect. A wonderful dragon who wants to read but can't get to the end of of a book. We loved the story.
