I would recommend this book to 1st and 2nd graders, because it is an interesting chapter book that had words we knew and some hard words too.

A good book when you have little time with your child before his/her sleeping hours.In this story, the parent could point out to their child how Andy had stood up to Dolores and with that a friendship began.Parents should also take heed on the approach that Granny Webb took. She was tactful in her plot to allow Andy to muster his courage to standup to Dolorus and pulled back when Andy had established his ground.
