This is a collection of the documents produced by the Westminster Assembly. I like that the proof texts are given in complete as footnotes, rather than just the verse numbers. The documents included are:The Westminster Confession and CatechismsThe Sum of Saving KnowledgeThe Directory for Public WorshipThe Directory for Family WorshipThe Form of Presbyterial Church GovernmentIn addition, it includes the National Covenant and the Solemn League and Covenant.Warning: the paperback version listed for this book is NOT the same book. It is a copy of the Confession only. Note the different page count for the two books.

This book is an excellent reference book. I feel i did well adding this to my library. If you are a Christian who wants to further understand what true Christianity is you should at least read this book if not add it to your library.

The Westminister Confession of Faith is one of the rocks that support Calvinist based denominations. For it's time period the English is very easy to understand. I like to read a selection every day along with my other devotionals. All of it is tied to scripture thus affirming its validity.

I bought my copy used. It arrived promptly and the condition matched the description from the vendor. I've yet to read the book in entirety, but the portions I have are very rewarding. Of course I would hope so considering this is one of the great confessions of Christianity. I look forward to reading more and in no way regret this purchase.

I love the Westminster Confession. It's such a great distillation of what the Bible actually says about God, sin, salvation, etc. The problem I have with this particular publication is that the publisher cites John Calvin as the author. Sorry, wrong century, wrong place, wrong language. It was written by the Westminster Divines. Check it out on wiki. A fascinating history!

Dear Friends,This excellent copy of the Westminster Confession purchased from at a bargain price, is in type that is easy to read. I heartily recommend it to you.Best regards,Tom Leopard

This is in my view the best publication of the Westminster Standards of all BUT the Kindle version is not the same book at all. The supporting documents are missing. should correct that!

Have questions of just what is to be truthfully taught about Go? This writing will clearly answer them. Though in Old English, there are many updated versions available. I particularly like to read these types of works the way they were originally published. Blessings on your reading.
