I purchased two of these for my boys. The book is easy to read and follow. It breaks everything down in teen laymen's terms so my boys are able to receive what they are reading. This book covers all chapters of the Bible.
The Old Testament overview in this guide was really dry. The New Testament overview however was VERY GOOD. Get it anyway but skip The Old Testament.
Bill Grimbol has such an amazing way with teens (his Idiot's Guide to Spirituality for Teens is phenomenal -- can't recommend it enough). His Bible Study book not only helps kids to see the stories in the Bible for their beautiful and true meanings, but also speaks to teens in a way that's respectful and never condescending. He is truly a gifted pastor and any teen (or adult!) could learn something valuable from this tome. Buy it!
