Horrible! I got lost trying to follow the author back and forth in the web he's created. No structure, no logical sequence... Feels like following a thread on a spaghetti bowl! You won't be able to learn from this book unless you have some sort of external reading/studying guide to help you follow a clear line of thought. I hated it!!
1 star for effort, another for having content. No more stars for not meeting expectations.If you have no clue about architecting anything on Azure, this is a good start. However, the content is all over the place in various styles and formats and inconsistency on terminology between the material and questions. For studying for the exam you will need to look up many topics on the web to be proficient.A disappointing book coming from Microsoft for lack of comprehensiveness, but not a bad book as one of the many study materials you can have.
Use another source. The concepts were very poorly laid out, no logical way to understand the material. The material presented is not cohesive, no clear way to relate the technologies to one another. There are too many references to online sources where you probably should go anyway to really learn about the material. Lastly, there were many, many errors. I do not recommend this book for learning the material, much less for passing the exam.
While other reviews state this isn't a very good exam prep - I didn't buy it for that purpose and can't comment. I purchased it for context as a cross-platform cloud architect and have found it a useful addition to the shelf. It's proven very readable for me vs. a list of bullets you 'must know' - which may be why others aren't rating it well.
Very impractical study tool. Hard to follow and does not give any preparation for actual exam.
