I BOUGHT THIS FOR MYSELF AS SOMETIMES WHEN WE ARE LOST READING THE ENTIRE BIBLE SEEMS TEDIOUS. THIS BOOK HELPS YOU TO IDENTIFY YOUR DIRECT NEED MAKING YOUR INTERACTION WITH THE LORD MUCH MORE MEANINGFUL.
The verses are mostly short.I was looking for something that felt like it had a little more substance as far as length of verses is concerned.It would be better for context's sake.However, it is a nice looking book with a nice dedication page to be personalized.I will definitely give as a gift.If I received this as a gift, I would think it was thoughtful.It's more a matter of preference, when choosing to buy this product.
Well, I was actually thinking these would be bible verse cards I could pass out individually, but, honestly I was not disappointed when the little books came in (ordered 2)! Perfect for any event as gift, or even helper for yourself! Love it!
This book is small; travel size. I knew this when I bought it because I read the reviews, but it still didn't prepare me for how small it was. That is ok. It is great for "on the go". Easy to fit in a purse or Bible carrying case. Can fit in a desk draw or work locker to take out when needed. I feel like this is a great "add-on" gift for any milestone in a woman's life, but possibly too small to be a main present (unless the woman is just an acquaintance or someone you are not really close to, but need something to lift their spirits). I am still giving it 5 stars because the book in itself is what I wanted and expected. There is a section in the back to take notes and add more Bible verses. We bought it as a Christmas present from my daughter to her grandmother. There is a section in the front where my daughter could write that it was from her to her grandmother.
Perfect little pocket book you can stuff in your Bible case or purse or set by your bedside table! Beautifully put together. The scriptures are written in clear large print, making it easy to read and memorize. Also has some additional quotes on a few side pages from some inspirational Christian writers. A few pages in the back to write your favorite verses and also take notes while you are studying. Really love this little book!
These were purchased as a gift for preschool teachers. The book was a perfect small size to keep in a desk or a purse.
I Keep this book close by for needed moments for myself and others.It is just what you need when a friend is going through something and needs prayer.
