I was given this book when I was in hospital with cancer. I have read it many times since. I often tell people about it, and they have purchased it. I am buying a copy for a friend.This book is visually beautiful, on each page there are the most beautiful pictures and scripture. There is encouragement on each page,filled with Love, Peace and Hope. There is also a little prayer for each day. It is a very calming book for the soul
This book is a prime example of why e-books will never replace print books, for me at least. The meditations are all here; however, part of the meditative process is looking at the beautiful pictures accompanying the text. None of those pictures are included in the e-version, only a few of the pictures beginning each new section are included. If I had paid full price for this book, I would have been very disappointed and sent it back.
I received this book a year ago as a gift from my sister. It took me a year to complete as I read a section nightly. Now I ordered 5 more copies that I want to give to family and friends. I love this book! I often found that when I picked it up each night, it would offer words of comfort or advice for the very problem/situation that I was dealing with. I truly did feel God's presence when reading this book. I hope that you will too.
This prayer book was recommended on one of my favorite blogs to read as a daily prayer/ meditation. It is a very nice prayer book with a beautiful binding and serene nature scenes within the prayer pages. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who is looking for a special few minutes daily to connect to the Lord and to themselves.
I received my Moments of Peace in the Presence of God in 2011 as a gift. I have continued to read through it every year and have given copies to friends who enjoy it also. I enjoy the inspirational reading along with the supporting scriptures from the Bible.
I have given 11 copies of this book as gifts. Morning and evening pray is made easy by this short format and seems to always be just what you need to read. The cover is beautiful and many who received it have also commented on it appearance. Make no mistake - it is even more beautiful inside.
