I am so glad I purchased this book. I am currently interviewing for my first pastoral positions and have been overwhelmed by all the things I will need to get organized when I take my first call. Like all pastors, I want to start off strong. This book takes the best of both worlds by compiling lectionary texts into current and engaging sermon series. I love how the series not only move people to action but also help develop biblical literacy. Also, the series are very adaptable and can be easily modified or even used by someone who does not prefer the lectionary. I hope this group of contributors continues to work together and create more resources in the future. This book is a must for all pastors but especially pastors in the early years of their career.
