Deserves the five-star rating. This story has a very different plot. The title says it all. There was a mistake and the wrong woman was mailed the tickets to come west. Interesting how that works out.
Dan Adams was at the depot to meet his bride, and when he saw her he was well pleased. He asked her what she wanted to be called thinking her name was Catherine and could not understand why she said to call her Lilly. They find out later at the ranch she is a Lillian Smith from New York and worked in a factory. She had written to Dan but did not get an answer because the were looking for a,woman who could handle the bookkeeping. Malcolm Adams wants to send her back but Dan said no they were married as soon as she got off the train and he was keeping her for his wife, and he would leave the ranch if he had to.
A very enjoyable western historical romance kindle book to read and enjoy the characters were entertaining to read about. The Bride that was to be married refused to come and gave her ticket to another so that she could get out of New York to start a new life, a must read from at a special price and from a delightful author who keeps me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down.
Sweet story about a mix up of a mail order bride and two brothers. The story is well written, has a good storyline, and will hold your interest. I certainly hope the author will write a sequel so we can find out what happens to Caleb.
This book was good , but too short in my opinion now I do not know what will happen with Caleb.
