Bailey and Brice are two very different people. Bailey is a well-educated career-oriented paleontologist. Brice is a fun-living, risk-taking, family-oriented construction worker.This story hit a little close to home because I was that career oriented female who didn't marry until my mid-30's.A good strong series continues recipes included.
Another great story. Shanna Hatfield, if you believe two people in love can sleep in the same bed and nothing is going to happen, then you are a better dreamer than you are a writer, however, the greater the power of the dreamer, the greater the quality of the story and the author. Another fantastic job!
Brice has his work cut out for him when he falls head over heals in love with the very quirky Bailey. Bailey reminds me very much of Temperance from the TV show Bones. I loved this story very much, although I did want to shake Bailey until her teeth rattled a few times!
If it wasn't for Brice this book would have gotten a 1. I loved books 1-3 in the Grass Valley Series. I read them a long time ago. I needed something today so I splurged in #4. I know $2.99 isn't a lot to other people but I can't afford much in my disabled fixed income. The main female character sucked! This authors way of having her act so uppity in words and attitude turned me off and I only got to the point where she left him after the wedding. What a waste of my money.
Sweet and quirky!! She's shy and brilliant while he's daring and cocky. They shouldn't work so well yet they are perfect together!! I laughed out loud at parts and teared up at other times.Love Shanna Hatfield and highly recommend all her books
I have to be honest and say that I didn't like this book as much as I have the others in this series. I in no way related with Bailey. I thought she was condescending a bit stuffy. She has a guy who is falling all over her and all she can do is think how love will not allow her to have her career. What bull!!!! Women love and have careers all of the time. If it weren't for Brice, I would have given this book a 3 rating. I love the rest of the family. This book is about family and love as well as the other books in the series. Even though Bailey finally comes out of her condescending ways at the end, I still didn't like it as well as the others. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger. No cursing. No sex.
The whole series of Grass Valley Cowboys is very good. I couldn't wait until the next one was available. This is a series I will read more than one time. You can not go wrong with any book written by Shanna Hatfield.
The first three books in this series is mostly about the Thompson family. This book is mostly about the Morgan family. These two ranchng families have been close friends for many years. This book is about the romance of one of the Morgan men. Good Story.
