Another cute book from Dr. Seuss, although my grandsons are only 5 months old I have already started buying books for them. I want them to have a love of reading and I think that needs to start early. They are already pretty good at listening to the stories (sometimes) and I think it will get better as their attention span increase. Thanks for a great book.
This book was purchased as a gift for our first grandchild. I personally liked the book (I have a number of children's books, added to my library just because I like books in general, and certain children's books in particular). It will be a few months yet before we know whether this book is a favorite, although "Giraffe's Can't Dance" is already a favorite.
Bought for my daughter and this has become her favorite book to read at bedtime. She especially loves feeling all the soft textures inside.
This book is nice because it has interactive touching items. It doesn't have a lot of words, but it is great!!!
I have been reading this to my daughter as part of her bedtime routine for about 3 months she is now 8 months old still loves it! just the right size with several touch and feel story is not to long and not to short :)
My granddaughter doesn't like sitting still for books for very long. I thought this would be perfect, it would keep her involved by allowing her to touch different things while I read to her. It worked like a charm, she adorably sat through it, feeling each page. She even tasted the sheepskin (ew!) to see if it tasted as neat as it felt (it didn't).This is a great book for antsy listeners. Keeps them involved and thinking about the book, rather than the next toy they can drag out and forget about.
My 8 month old LOVES this book. We read it every not if not more than once. Needless to say I have I memorized by heart we read it so much. My LO knows what's coming at feels the textures when I'm reading really gets her to focus love this and highly recommend it!!!
My grandson who is 15 months old really enjoyed getting this book for Christmas. Seuss is always a big hit and he really enjoys the touch and feel nature of this one!
